Characters that made my year – Hans Humpty (12 Days of Anime: Day 7)

Okay now for a character I loved for entirely shallow reasons – not that that is a bad thing! Hans Humpty from Rokka no Yuusha.

My opinion of Rokka no Yuusha was a touch all over the place – a bit like the show itself to be fair – but I definitely really liked the majority of the characters. However the character I enjoyed the most despite his rather limited screentime, was Hans Humpty, the scruffy cat-themed assassin. I think a lot of it has to do with his character design and voice actor, plus the fact Hans just feels like a bit of a wildcard with his quicksilver moods. In general he just stole the show whenever he was on screen and I really enjoyed watching him interact with Adlet in particular. What a fun character.
