Naruto – Chapter 484

This is the way it should have happened.

This week we get yet another Stupid-Sakura moment – hopefully she’ll be shunted off to the background soon, I can’t be bothered with her anymore.

So to start with we see Sakura healing Karin, who’s pissed off at having to look at Sakura’s miserable tear-streaked face – I would be too 😆

So last week I was quite looking forward to the prospect of a showdown between Kakashi and Sasuke…….so of course it didn’t really happen 😦  Instead we get Kakashi attempting to appeal to Saucey’s good side – you know cause that worked the last 100 times they tried it 🙄  Meanwhile Saucey has flashbacks, angsts about his Itachi nii-chan, gets pissed off about Kakashi having a Sharingan eye when he’s not even a super-special-awesome Uchiha and summons Susanoo again in a fit of EMO-RAGE!  However Kakashi calmly sends Susanoo’s attack off into warp-space with the handy-dandy ability of his Mangekyou (which Sasuke is annoyed about too – how dare Kakashi put in the work to awaken the Mangekyou when he’s not an Uchiha!).

It then seems that Saucey’s spamming of Mangekyou techniques during the battle with Danzo finally catches up with him and his eyesight starts to go hazy.  We know that Itachi was nearly blind form overuse of his Sharingan, but this has happened extremely quickly to Sasuke…..unless its just temporary fatigue?

While Kakashi looks on and tries to recover from using his Mangekyou, Sakura decides to take advantage of Sasuke’s distraction and pain and sneaks up behind him…….

But of course the gutless wonder once again bottles it and fails to land the killing blow ending up being caught by Saucey again, who’s rightly pissed off at her incompetence.

At this stage I was cheering Saucey on – seriously by all means stab the useless girl and put us all out of our misery! 😛  Alas I knew it was not to be, and thus was supremely unsurprised when Naruto finally made his entrance.

Twas actually a kind of cool entrance!  It’s nice to see Naruto not being late/incompetent/loud – maybe Kishi actually remembered who the main character of this manga is meant to be!? 😆

So the Kakashi Vs Sasuke wasnt the great battle of ninja skills that I had hoped it would be, and now that Naruto has arrived on the scene I’m expecting a lot of angsty dialogue, screaming, crying, sexual tension and flashbacks for the next few chapters as Saucey and Naruto have a heart to heart 🙄
