Naruto – Chapter 485

So apparently Naruto’s grand plan was to use empathy on Saucey to turn him away from the Dark Side…….genius 😐

Naruto’s special skill has always been empathy – he finds it easy to put himself in others shoes and is able to recognise how, if he made different choices he may have ended up in the same place.  However Saucey is so far gone at this point empathy isn’t going to cut it as Sasuke is hung up on the fact that as an orphan, Naruto didn’t have familial bonds to be shattered.

Kakashi gets bored of the chatter between his students as he recognises that words are not going to get through to Sasuke at this stage……so he sends the most useless (and one most likely to get in the way) of his students packing – cheerio Sakura!  Please do as Kakashi says, perhaps you can commiserate with Karin (who has finally given up on Crazy!Saucey).

Naruto isn’t about to let Kakashi attempt to kill Sasuke without him being given a shot at the ole ‘defeat=redeemption’ tactic he loves so much.  So we get another Chidori Vs Rasengan moment!

Of course being ‘Naruto’ the split second where the attacks collide provide ample time for a chat – Naruto tries empathy again…….it doesnt work unsurprisingly.  So Naruto seems to make peace with himself.

Woo! Proper SasuNaru end flag!  Sasuke gives Naruto the choice of kill or be killed, but Naruto says he’ll take a third option……..which is probably something to do with redirecting Saucey’s murderous rage into some angry sex 😆

Anyway I’m sure there will be more sexual tension and chatter next week.  Sasuke really can’t last too long at the moment as his chakra reserves are nearly depleted – guessing he’ll cut and run next week or Madara comes back to save him 🙄
